Friends of Loch Neaton

Loch Neaton is a small charity run by volunteers and was given to the community for the benefit of residents of Watton and the environs.

Our only income is the sale of fishing tickets, occaisional grants from the town council and donations.

The Loch is regularly used by dog walkers, families picnicking and those wanting a stroll. The trustees are looking at how we might raise more funds to maintain the Loch and one idea is to have the possibility for Loch users to pay a voluntary small yearly donation to become a Friend of Loch Neaton. Although we don't have a firm figure yet it may be around £7.50 for an individual and £18 for a family.

Please note:

There is no intention to charge people to use the Loch grounds (other than the charge for fishing) and becoming a Friend of Loch Neaton would simply be a voluntary donation to the upkeep.

If you would be interested in becoming a Friend of Loch Neaton will you be so kind as to let us have your Name and e-mail address so we can contact you in future when plans are firmed up. Please comment Friend in the subject line.
