Start Fishing
A 'Start Fishing' DVD is available from this site, price £4.99 incl p&p. A 'Start Fishing' booklet - A Beginner's Guide to Coarse Fishing - is also available price £3.50. DVD and book are available together for £7.00. A Coarse Fishing Resource Pack is also available for £4.50, with more than 200 Jpeg diagrams and illustrations of baits, fish, tackle and techniques etc. These have all been produced by Alan Jones, a qualified level 2 coach in angling.

The Angling Foundation
The Angling Foundation is a non-political, non-profit making body which advises on angling and fish welfare issues. It gives guidance on these matters by the production of voluntary standards, guidelines and best practice for all sectors of the sport and industry in the UK. All Angling Foundation guidance takes due regard to environmental and conservation issues. The Foundation also seeks to further the participation in angling through support of projects for the promotion of angling, especially with young, disabled or disadvantaged groups and projects for the recruitment of new anglers.

The Angling Trust
The National body for coarse, game and sea fishing. New, information, competitions, members' forum.

The Environment Agency
The Environment Agency is responsible for all matters concerning the environment and, for the angler, especially rivers lakes and canals. It issues rod licences and is the first point of contact if you see a problem with pollution.
